My name is Mai Van Wagner, and I'm a fresh App Academy grad and a self-motivated person with excellent communication skills. I thrive on challenge and constantly set goals for myself, so I have something to strive
toward.
I have been in the US for almost 16 months so far but I’m not comfortable with settling. I’m always looking for an opportunity to do better and achieve greatness. Because of this, I have choosen to become a software developer, and gained a lot of hands-on experiences with JavaScript, React, Redux, Node.js, PostgresQL, Materail-ui, Boostrap, HTML and CSS.

- Administered and coordinated with teachers team (both Vietnamese and foreign teachers) and TA team to ensure the work was completed effectively in a timely manner
- Initiated a variety of new programs which aimed at attracting customers using marketing techniques such as sales and trials.
- Conducted parent teacher conferences to review students behavior and overall student performance.
- Implemented continuous improvement practices to enhance the quality of teaching and service provided to the customers. These practices allowed the school to become one of the most desired schools in the area.
- Created lesson plans for students which included teaching methods such as sing alongs, gamification, and reward based systems. This enabled the students to learn at a faster pace compared to not using these methods.

- Supervised students outside of the classroom, such as between classes, during lunch and recess, and on field trips to ensure proper safety procedures are followed
